Introduction to Mounting Epiphytes

Location: Marie Selby Botanical Gardens Downtown Sarasota Campus 

Materials Fee: All materials are included in class fee. 

Learn about Selby’s featured plant group, epiphytes (air plants), with diverse examples of orchids, ferns, cacti, and bromeliads from our expert horticulturist. A hands-on plant mounting demonstration will follow a discussion of epiphyte history, care, and cultivation. Students may bring a healthy specimen from home for mounting (or remounting) in class. Open to all ages/experience levels.
