Enjoy a casual evening of cocktails and hors d'oeuvres overlooking Little Sarasota Bay at Selby Gardens' Historic Spanish Point Campus. Watch the sunset and be the first to preview our new exhibition Patti Smith: A Book of Days, featuring a selection of photographs taken by the famed poet, musician, and Selby Gardens’ first Artist in Residence – Patti Smith – and offers an intimate view of her life on and off the road. The photographs are taken from Smith’s recently published, New York Times bestselling publication, A Book of Days, which offers a window into her world and illustrates her unique aesthetic. The exhibition at Selby Gardens' Historic Spanish Point campus will feature large prints of Smith’s photographs outdoors, bringing them into dialogue with nature, which has long been a source of inspiration for the legendary artist.
