Learn how to channel creativity and gain inspiration in nature, while surrounded by nature, and thrive as an environmental artist.  

 

Students in this open-air drawing course will understand perspective as it applies to the landscapes and ecosystems of the pristine nature at Historic Spanish Point. Learn techniques of outdoor, live-action drawing as you flesh out creative ideas and download your thoughts onto paper through sketch-booking. Learn the intricacies of 2-dimensional art through depth of drawing, how to scale, shade, and tone.

 

Open to all ages/skill levels.  

 

Materials Fee: All supplies are included in the class fee. Upon arrival for the series class, please meet outside the Welcome Gazebo (337 N Tamiami Trail, Osprey, FL 34229) around 10:15 to be checked-in for your 10:30 class start time. A Selby Gardens' staff member will direct you to the White Cottage Sunroom where your class will be taking place.
