Expand your enjoyment of Historic Spanish Point’s iconic scenery with a guided nature walk! Join a certified Forest Therapist and expert naturalist on a guided walking tour of Historic Spanish Point’s Fern and Jungle Gardens. While learning about native Florida flora, you will connect with nature, learn about ecosystem engagement strategies, and habitat-specific sustainability practices. 

 

This workshop takes place at Selby Gardens’ Historic Spanish Point campus (401 North Tamiami Trail, Osprey, FL 34229). Upon arrival, please check-in at the Historic Spanish Point Welcome Gazebo at 10:15 for a 10:30 start time. From there, you will be directed to the Fern Walk Garden.  

 

Binoculars, comfortable shoes, hats, sunglasses, water bottle, and sunscreen are recommended. This class will take place in drizzle or shine. Be prepared to wear appropriate rain gear. This class will only be canceled if there is extreme weather (lightning, tropical storms, etc.).
