Orchid Show Tripod Tuesday

Every Tuesday morning in November  

9 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Location: Meet in front of Marie Selby Botanical Gardens Downtown Sarasota Campus’ Welcome Center to be guided into the Tropical Greenhouse Conservatory  

Class Fee: Members $20/Non-members $25    

Class Size: 20 Students 

Required Supplies: Students will need to bring their own camera and/or smartphone. 

Attention all photographers: Receive special early hours access to Selby’s Tropical Conservatory during the annual Orchid Show!

A unique opportunity for photographers and botanical enthusiasts to use tripods and other professional equipment to capture images of rare orchids and other endangered tropical plants. Open to all ages/skill levels.  

Early registration is recommended as space fills up fast. Drop-ins are encouraged, but limited to first-come, first-served. For ease of transaction, drop-in payments should be made in cash or cheque. 

Upon arrival for the class, please meet outside Selby Gardens’ Welcome Center around 8:50 to be checked-in for your 9:00 start time. The best address to use as a reference is 1534 Mound Street, Sarasota, FL 34236. The parking lot is located across the street from the address provided.
