Introduction to Calligraphy at Historic Spanish Point

Calligraphy adds creative flair to correspondence, invitations, art projects, and more! This introductory course offers beginner techniques to practice making letterforms. Students will learn the tools and materials, how to hold and use the pen, and basic strokes. This course will specialize in Chancery Style calligraphy and will be taught indoors and outdoors.

Open to all ages/experience levels.  

Materials Fee: All supplies are included in the class fee. Upon arrival for the series class, please meet outside the Welcome Gazebo (337 N Tamiami Trail, Osprey, FL 34229) around 10:15 to be checked-in for your 10:30 class start time. A Selby Gardens' staff member will direct you to the White Cottage Sunroom where your class will be taking place.

General admission is included in the course fee.
