Painting in Nature - Plein Air Watercolor Class at Historic Spanish Point

Tuesdays & Thursdays, 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

In the style of the French Impressionists, this open-air painting course will focus on techniques of watercolor art in nature to understand perspective, from landscape to portrait painting.

Students will learn a special approach to rendering acrylics as watercolors, how to mix, and build layers of colors, and various stroke techniques.

Open to all ages/skill levels.  

Materials Fee: All supplies are included in the class fee.

Upon arrival for the series class, please meet outside the Welcome Gazebo (401 North Tamiami Trail, Osprey, FL 34229) around 10:15 to be checked-in for your 10:30 class start time.

A Selby Gardens' staff member will direct you to the where your class will be taking place. General admission is included in the course fee.
